Mommie Dearest

I've spilled blood for you mother,
And blood's thicker than the tears you shed,
Selfish salt in the wounds you gave me,
From every heartless word that you've said;
I'm drowning in this life,
I die every day,
With questions:
Why are you this way?
Who are we?
And do I have to stay?
What happened to you?
Did I do this?
Am I failure,
Your one single failed wish?
Where do we go from here?
I miss you,
I can't stand you,
I love you,
And I hate you too;
'Cause I've spilled blood for you, mother,
And blood's thicker than water,
I guess I'm just crazy,
Like mother, Like daughter.
